Swing-out design with 4 screws allows quick and easy maintenance, of valves while installed. Separate seal kits are available.

The technology of the stem seal

Just as important as the seat seal is the special reliable stem seal used in the 60 series ball valve. Two elements in particular contribute to this.

• The 60 Series uses a two-piece chevron seal that allows the torque to be distributed over the contact surfaces between the stem and the body. This significantly improves the stem seal.
• The packing is subjected to a constant load by a pair of stem springs to ensure a permanent, low-maintenance seal.

Leak free seat seal

To reinforce the PTFE seat we use a special spring loaded seat to compensate for wear and temperature and pressure changes. This method minimizes wear due to pressure surges regardless of the direction of fluid flow.

• In the 60 series ball valve, a seat made of reinforced PTFE is used for additional stability.
• An additional support ring in front of the seat protects against bulging, premature wear and deformation.
• A disc spring behind the seat applies a permanent preload to the seat structure, ensuring tightness.
• The support of the PTFE seat on both sides ensures an excellent seat seal.
